What would the cooking time and temp be?

Then looked it up on your website, which has pics of the jimmies.

I specifically purchased the sprinkles (which are tiny rainbow-colored bb’s) instead of the jimmies (which are the little log-shaped confection). As soon as I began to stir the sprinkles into the cake batter they melted and turned the batter gray! This is a birthday cake for my God-daughter, and I don’t think I can serve it to her - it looks SO unappetizing!!]]> ☹️ Could you clarify what you mean by “rainbow sprinkles” in your recipe, please? I think it will be fine! If you don’t frost it tonight, make sure it’s stored airtight. I like to wrap the cakes in cling wrap to lock in the moisture!

I plan on baking/frosting this cake tonight for my boyfriend’s birthday party tomorrow night. Do you think that will be okay and still taste fresh? Or should I bake the cake tonight, freeze it, and frost tomorrow?

Or frost and then freeze? Thanks. I’m looking forward to eating this!
